Personality
Moss is too much of a sweetheart to ever be an effective agate. She's compassionate, encouraging, and optimistic, a direct contradiction to everything she was intended to be. She's also embarrassingly gullible, which makes her surprisingly easy to take advantage of. She is very forgiving and her kindness seems almost without limit; she sees the goodness even in gems who are inherently cruel. She's impulsive and often irresponsible.

Bio
Throughout the Rebellion, resources became increasingly scarce for Homeworld, which forced the Diamonds to overlook even obvious defects in an effort to conserve them. Moss was known to be defective from the moment she came into creation, an agate too easygoing and optimistic to ever be effective in her position. Yellow Diamond ordered her to be trained under Grape Agate, an agate who was known to be terrifyingly effective, but Grape was quick to dismiss and disown Moss as a failure. Still, Moss tried her best to control her charges, young quartzes who took constant advantage of her lax kindness, until she led them into a Crystal Gem ambush while transferring them between campsites and lost her entire platoon. While Moss' charges were bubbled, not shattered, she believed them to be dead and, afraid for her own life, she fled into the earth wilderness. She could never show her faces to the Diamonds again, knowing that she would immediately be shattered. Instead, Moss was found by Captain Pyrite, a wanted criminal who had turned on Homeworld and stolen valuable resources from them in an effort to further her own agenda. While Pyrite's crew members were skeptical of her at first, Moss eventually found her place among them. Today, she travels the solar system with Pyrite and her crew.
